Satonova University is a learning place with companions going around various regions. They have no campus. Their learning fields are in regions all over Japan with full of innovative challenges, and they have comrades to learn together everywhere in Japan.

How We Can Establish a Traveling University?
Although Satonova University has no campus, they have learning fields all over in Japan with full of innovative challenges, and they also have comrades to learn together everywhere in Japan. They are, so to speak, a traveling university. In time and age like groping in the dark, they aim to develop their ability to live their own life by trying to find their own answers. We needed to think about their best way for communication as an unprecedented style of university.
Solutions
Showing Its Significance of Existence to Attract Interests
We carefully discussed about what kind of information should be offered to the students to come in the future with the representative of Satonova University and staff. By going through our previous projects like CHIIKI KYOSO COLLEGE and SHIMA NO TAISHIKAN, we knew that there are a lot of people who are willing to work together by agreeing to their vision. Therefore, we decided their visual design from the idea that showing the significance of establishing Satonova University would be effective to expand people’s circle of empathy.
Results
Regional Areas, the Place Where Easy to Feel a Good Response
By expanding student’s community to the regional areas until they make the whole of Japan as a “learning community”, the number of people who thinks about their future seriously, and who’re eager to design their future will increase for sure. Thanks to our community design which could build a system to connect people in a learning place, we succeeded to make an environment to activate the various types of regional branding in Japan. Nowadays, we’re less likely to survive in one company for life using only one skill, unfortunately. That’s why we need to find our own answer by exploring this chaotic society to open the way to the future. Satonova University branding project could make a successful case for people to be innovative.
