Social Media Policy

BOEL Inc. (the "Company") establishes this Policy in order to communicate information about the Company's activities, services, projects, recruitment, events, and other matters through official social media accounts operated by the Company, and to promote better communication with users.

  1. Covered Accounts
    This Policy applies to official social media accounts operated by the Company.

  2. Operation Policy
    The Company complies with corporate ethics, laws and regulations, and public order and morals, and endeavors to communicate accurate information that is unlikely to cause misunderstanding, while understanding the characteristics of social media.
    Information posted by the Company on social media does not necessarily represent the Company's official announcements or views. Please refer to the Company's website, news releases, and other information officially published by the Company for official announcements.
  3. Operating Hours
    As a general rule, operating hours are from 10:00 to 19:00 on weekdays. However, the Company may post or respond outside operating hours, on weekends and holidays, or on Company holidays.
    The Company may change the content of official accounts or suspend or terminate their operation without prior notice.
  4. Precautions
    The Company endeavors to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of information posted on official accounts. However, the Company does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, usefulness, or fitness for a particular purpose of such information.
    Even if users suffer damage arising from the use or inability to use official accounts, the Company assumes no liability except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence by the Company, or where liability cannot be disclaimed under applicable laws and regulations.
    The Company assumes no responsibility for posts, comments, replies, quotations, shares, or other reactions by users.
    The Company also assumes no responsibility for disputes between users or between users and third parties.
  5. Prohibited Acts
    The following acts are prohibited when using official accounts. If any such act is identified, the Company may delete or hide posts, block accounts, report to the operators of the relevant social media services, or take other necessary measures.
    • Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
    • Acts that infringe the rights, interests, reputation, or credibility of the Company, users, or third parties
    • Acts that identify, disclose, or leak personal information without the individual's consent
    • Defamation, discriminatory expressions, threats, harassment, impersonation, or similar acts
    • Acts that infringe copyrights, trademarks, portrait rights, privacy rights, or other rights
    • Political activities, election campaigns, religious activities, or similar acts
    • Commercial, advertising, promotional, or solicitation activities without the Company's consent
    • Acts that interfere with the operation of official accounts
    • Posts or reactions unrelated to the purpose of official accounts
    • Other acts that the Company reasonably determines to be inappropriate
  6. Use of Posted Content
    Rights to comments, images, videos, and other content posted by users to official accounts generally belong to the users who posted them. However, by posting such content, users grant the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the posted content within the necessary scope on the Company's website, social media, public relations materials, marketing materials, and similar media.
  7. Handling of Personal Information
    If the Company obtains personal information in connection with the operation of official accounts, the Company handles such information appropriately in accordance with the Company's Privacy Policy and applicable laws and guidelines.
  8. Changes to This Policy
    The Company may change this Policy as necessary. The revised Policy applies from the time it is posted on the Company's website.

  10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
    This Policy is governed by the laws of Japan. Unless otherwise provided by law, the Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for disputes relating to this Policy or the use of official accounts.
